The Watch Restoration Center was founded in 2005. This is an сompany created by professional watchmakers of Saint Petersburg. The Center carries out one hundred percent restoration of various collectors’ watches practically from scratch, even by sketches, using old technologies as well.
The main purpose of the Center’s work is revival and preservation of invaluable and seemingly lost masterpieces: samples of creative activities of the watchmakers of the past centuries – old, antique clocks and music boxes, museum level rarities.
In the restoration process the master craftsmen use materials and parts of the watches of the time, whenever possible. In the process of one hundred percent restoration of the watch and giving them their original appearance the specialists are helped by the vast experience and links which enable them to refer to information sources and archives both in Russia and abroad.
